Jenna Winn
I am currently a student in my junior year at Providence College, where I study Finance as my major and Economics as my minor in the Providence College School of Business. In efforts to pursue my aspired career in the financial services industry, I am interning with State Street Global Advisors - the investment management arm of the State Street Corporation, for the subsequent summer. Through this program I plan to maximize my network, and to continue learning about and exploring each sector of the financial industry so that I may further develop my skills in how to operate in a professional, real life office environment.

Summer Internship Program at Intern at State Street Global Advisors
State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) specializes in global asset management and distribution. In the summer of 2014 I interned with the Intermediary Business Group (IBG), more specifically for the Sales and Distributions team. During my first experience interning for SSgA I assisted sales managers in daily tasks; researched information, collected data, and organized material. I completed a series of projects including: a financial product overview, a mutual funds presentation, components of the IBG outlook overview presentation, and many mini-projects in excel. I additionally met and had exposure to senior management, and learned about various business groups within SSgA; thus all-together I developed better knowledge of the industry, and plan on returning to intern for the summer of 2015.
